3/4 | cup | Karo Dark Corn Syrup | |

1/2 | cup | firmly packed light brown sugar | |

1/4 | cup | Mazola Margarine, melted | |
|
|||
1 | teaspoon | vanilla | |
|
|||
1/4 | teaspoon | salt | |
|
|||
1 | cup | raisins | |
|
|||
1/2 | cup | chopped pecans or walnuts | |
|
|||
1 | unbaked (9-inch) pastry shell | ||
|
In bowl beat eggs slightly. Stir in corn syrup, brown sugar, margarine, vanilla and salt. Stir in raisins and nuts. Turn into pastry shell. Bake in 350 F. oven 40 - 50 minutes or until knife inserted half-way between center and edge comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. If desired, serve with unsweetened whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
